Every person, every vision, every brand has a story. And every story is built on a firm foundation. The day I was born, my father was being detained at an immigration center. The day I was born, I was already abandoned by 1 out of the 2 of the most important people to me. Though It wasn’t my Dad’s fault, the enemy used that moment to try to plant the seed of abandonment and neglect in my life…but God had other plans. He erased the story the devil tried to write, and grabbed the pen to write His own. This is a story of freedom. This is a story of resurrection. This is a story of purpose. And most importantly, this is a story of God’s unwavering grace. Swanzy means to be notable. A brand inspired by and in remembrance of my late father who taught me to always leave a mark, no matter where life takes me. In this collection, we take you back to the beginning. We tell our story through fashion by curating everyday pieces as well as intricate pieces that reflect our foundation. A foundation built on the solid rock that changed my story.
